Free Pattern from Northcott

Hello - there isn't much posted yet this month, but there is a LOT happening!
This past 30 days I've been to quilt shows in Pittsburgh and Lancaster.  Then I went to The Wayne Art Center (near Philadelphia) for a fantastic exhibit of Art Quilts.

One of the items I picked up at the AQS show in Lancaster was a little bundle of 2 1/2 " squares - the new line of solid colors by Northcott.  To introduce this new line of solids, they are also offering a free pattern using 2.5" squares - http://www.northcott.net/patternpdf/EverydayBasket.pdf

It's really cute, and a very handy size! 4"w x 10"L x6"H - not including handles.
I think it would work almost as well with any stack (42) of 2 1/2 " squares.  It would also be a good way to use up leftovers from charm packs (4 squares from each charm!)  Or some leftover jelly roll strips would work, too!

Remember to stop by the Moda Bake Shop to see what's cooking over there while you're online.  There's a "LIGHTSABER" quilt posted today for all you Star Wars fans!
